Manny Klibaner

Our constant aim has been and will continue to be honest representation of our manufacturers to the greatest friends you will ever have.

Manny Klibaner was born and raised in New York. After attending city college for a year and a half Manny left school to serve in the United States Army during WWII. After 5 months in India and 2 years in China and a month on the high seas, the war was over. After years of dedicated service the war ended leaving Manny looking for his next opportunity.

Manny Klibaner entered the Beauty business working for Royal Metal Manufacturing Co. Royal Metal were manufacturers of Beauty Salon chairs, office chairs, specialized medical chairs, and industrial seating. It was over 60 years ago that Manny worked his first BBSI show. His first territory was northeast Ohio.

​

After leaving Royal Metal Manufacturing Co. Manny joined his brother in law, Harry Young and Ed Talley to form the first three-man rep group in the Southeast. Initially their territory encompassed Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh.

As time passed the territory changed and eventually Manny bought out Harry Young and moved the office to Miami. A major turning point in the history of Klibaner Sales was the decision of Manny’s son, Kenneth Klibaner, to join the firm, learn the trade, and eventually lead the firm.

Ken Klibaner

President

I believe our company has a wealth of knowledge and experience, balanced with youthful enthusiasm to handle every situation our manufacturers require of us.

Ken Klibaner joined Klibaner Sales Agency, Inc. on January 2, 1977 after graduating from SUNY Stony Brook.  Ken’s employment with the company was originally intended to be temporary as he waited to begin law school in the fall, but that plan was soon set aside as he discovered that his true passion and talent was sales.  Ken changed course with no regret, and went on to enjoy working with his father, meeting and getting to know their customers, and traveling the Southeast territory.

​

Ken has worked the entire Southeast territory throughout the years, developing close relationships with his customers, as well as the manufacturers he represents.  Ken became the recipient of many industry awards over the years due to his effective sales ability, and commitment to providing his clients with continuing service and assistance throughout the process.

​

He was the first manufacturer's representative to have a multi-cultural sales team as he sought to better serve an increasingly diverse client base.  His early recognition of the growing importance the Korean-American beauty store market, and his efforts to develop sales to those customers, created what are now strong, and longstanding relationships.

Kyle Davidson

Sales Representative

Native Floridian Kyle Davidson has grown his sales career over the past 10 years, starting out as an inside sales representative in Fort Myers, FL where he built a successful reputation in the quality monitoring industry.  He later joined a tech startup in Naples, FL. He grew with the company, eventually being promoted to Digital Channel Manager before leaving to take on another challenge by joining an ISP startup in the Bonita Springs area.

​

Once that startup grew and was purchased by a large conglomerate, Kyle sought a new path to utilize the skills he had developed during his young career.  Kelly Davidson and Ken Klibaner provided Kyle with the opportunity to become a 3rd generation beauty rep by joining Klibaner Sales Agency. After working in sales and management roles in a variety of industries, Kyle has found a home in the beauty industry.

Kyle says, “The people in the beauty industry are some of the most genuine, passionate people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. From barbers and hairdressers to corporate executives, I am constantly reminded why people who get into this industry rarely leave. The beauty industry is full of excitement and challenges that make me eager to get out of bed every morning. I am honored to work with some of the best manufacturers, dealers, and redistributors in the business. This is an industry that I can see myself working within for decades to come.”

The people in the beauty industry are some of the most genuine, passionate people I have ever had the opportunity to work with.

Peter grew up in the beauty business, working trade shows, and learning about this amazing industry.  He was born and raised in Georgia and couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home. Although Peter graduated from Kennesaw State University with separate degrees in both Accounting and Marketing, it is marketing that is his real passion.  Peter brings the same focus and work ethic to KSA that kept him on the Dean's List at Kennesaw State.

Peter worked in the technology sales for a short time, but his love of the beauty industry and devotion to the family business led him back to KSA.
